Answer

What kind of records can be found at UN Archives Geneva?

The Archives holds the records of UN Geneva itself, as well as the records of select UN related individuals and UN-related agencies with a footprint in Geneva; most notably the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and the United Nations Office of Disarmament Affairs (ODA). The records date from 1945 to the present.

The UN Archives Geneva also holds the archives of the League of Nations.

More detailed information is available in our catalogs, in the Archives Research Guides, and by contacting an archivist to be provided with general and practical information on how to access these records.
