Are the records held by the UN Archives Geneva available online?

The vast majority of records held by the UN Archives Geneva are not available online.

The records concerning the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 10 December 1948, as well as records regarding the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 9 December 1948, are available for consultation online, please click here.

At present, the finding aids to the records of the First Period of UN Geneva Registry, created during the period 1946 – 1973 are available on our online catalogue.

The Records Management Unit at UN Geneva Library and Archives continues to digitalize archival records to be made available online for our clients.
